If not for batteries, I would give it five stars. It does reduce the number of breakouts and makes the existing ones heal much faster. It is especially helpful for cysts, that are not affected by topical medications such as salicylic acid, sulfur and benzoyl peroxide, and for whiteheads. The only con is that it requires batteries replacement about every 50 uses.
