You can wrench it back up and get another pump, but it's not fun.It didn't work very well anyway. It's so full of soap that it irritates and washes the active ingredient away. Now I just crash an aspirin tablet, mix it with some water in my palm and smear it on. When I first got it in about three days of daily use my skin was clearing up nicely without drying out. Now I am ordering more, but it is not easy to find. I agree the pump does tend to break easily. My first bottle worked fine to the end of product and my next one malfunctioned about halfway through but I just used it without the foaming pump. It still did the job. It is so good not to have dried out skin when I treat acne I don't care about the bottle.
